New Features and Functionality
- Summary report:
- The Summary report has been completely redesigned to be more visually informative and give the user a better overview of the calculated case. The layout is structured as a dashboard with boxes and graphical plots.
- KPIs and sums are presented in boxes at the top of the report.
- Four graphical plots show the cash flows before and after tax, productions, investments, and costs in yearly values.
- Any Break even and Goal seek results are displayed in boxes at the bottom of the report.
- The report now focuses on one discount rate and after-tax mode at a time, compared to the previous report, which showed all combinations in a table view.
- The KPIs Capital efficiency index (CEI), Risk reward (RR), and Government take are no longer displayed in this report, but can be found in the Rank, Profiles, and Dashboard portfolio reports.

- Project import tool:
- The new tool makes it easier to import data and generate projects from external spreadsheets. This is an alternative to the existing External profiles system and is useful for cases where project data has been exported from a database to a spreadsheet.
- When opening an external spreadsheet in the Project import editor, the values in the spreadsheet columns can be mapped to Arcast® project settings and profiles.
- Mappings are defined by using a wizard with guided steps.
- When mappings have been defined, Arcast projects are generated and placed in the project list.
- The new tool makes it easier to import data and generate projects from external spreadsheets. This is an alternative to the existing External profiles system and is useful for cases where project data has been exported from a database to a spreadsheet.
Updates
- Added the ability to remove file listings in the Recent section in the Start window.
- Enhanced the Preferences window layout and clarified terms used therein.
- Added a function for exporting the project Profiles report.
- This option is available by right-clicking the report.
- Added a function for exporting the project editor spreadsheet to file.
- This option is available in the ribbon menu and by right-clicking in the editor.
- Added a general Norway Onshore tax regime to the tutorial configuration files.
- Added a new tutorial called “Arcast at a glance” in the reference manual.

- Project metadata has been made available as columns in the Portfolio editor.
- Adjusted the colors used in the software.
Bug Fixes
- Corrected an issue with updating external profiles.
- Now, when monthly input is disabled in the project, updating external profiles will ignore any invalidated monthly external information and only update yearly data of the profile.
- Corrected a metadata warning for portfolios, since project metadata does not apply to portfolios.
- Corrected an issue with exporting the portfolio Profiles report.
- Now the first column in the report is not changed to another column when exporting to the Microsoft Excel® spreadsheet software.
- Corrected an issue with sorting of dependent profiles in project Profiles report.
- Now dependent profiles are sorted in the correct profile section of the report.
- Corrected an issue with use of custom currencies that would cause an error when opening the portfolio Profiles report.
- Corrected an issue with the export of the portfolio Rank report where exporting the portfolio Profiles report before exporting the Rank report would cause an error.
- Corrected an issue with changing the quantity to value of profiles in the project editor.
- Now the info in the profile row in the project editor updates correctly.
- Corrected an issue with drag-and-drop to copy multiple analyses into a portfolio, which previously allowed portfolios containing projects with the same name to be added to another portfolio.
